On September 6, lithography giant ASML issued a statement on its official website that the Dutch government announced new regulations for the export of infiltrating DUV lithography machines, effective from September 7. This meant that ASML needed to apply for an export license from the Dutch government to ship the TWINSCANNXT:1970i and 1980i DUV lithography machines.
