Characteristics of microporous ceramics

The porosity of micropores is high, up to 20%-95%, and the aperture distribution is uniform and the size is controllable, and the permeability is high. The void of porous ceramics comes from two parts: one part comes from the space between particles left during the sintering process of powder particles, and the other part comes from the hole formed by the pore-making agent.

The microporous ceramic products with the selected pore size can be made when the pore size is 0.05 ~ 600μm.


Good chemical stability, chemical corrosion resistance, in addition to hydrofluoric acid, concentrated alkali, excellent corrosion resistance to all media, through the selection of materials and process control, can be made suitable for a variety of corrosion environment of microporous ceramics, and does not react with other substances, so the fluid is not polluted by soluble substance, will not cause secondary pollution;


High temperature resistance, no volatilization of harmful substances, good thermal stability, no thermal deformation, softening, oxidation, can be used at -50~500℃.

High mechanical strength and stiffness, under pressure, hydraulic or other stress loads, the shape and size of the channel won’t be changed;


Strong regeneration, by backwashing with liquid or gas, can basically restore the original filtration capacity, so as to have a long service life, while the antibacterial performance is good, not easy to be degraded by bacteria.


Good adsorption performance, the microporous ceramics with porous solid surface characteristics, so that it has a large internal surface, that is a large surface energy, so that it has a strong adsorption capacity, can adsorb and filter a large number of small suspended particles.


No pollution, its own clean status is good, non-toxic and tasteless, no foreign body shedding, will not cause secondary pollution, can replace cotton, silk fabric, plastic, precious metal mesh of filter materials, eliminate the defects of these filter materials.
